Foreword "Last Week in the Markets..." is an examination of the week that was in the financial markets, in an effort to help assess the prospects for the week(s) that will be. Summary Stocks fell again last week, the second week in a row in which the GRA tracking group suffered decent losses. And in the process of this latest decline, some of our more important momentum measures also sustained further damage. But it is quite probable that the most important news of the coming week, for the stock and other financial markets, will be the outcome of Hurricane Katrina's strike on the Gulf Coast of the United States.
